In 2003, an article was written about a man who commit suicide by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. Found in his apartment was a note saying ” If one person smiles at me on the way, I will not jump.” 

Today is Suicide Awareness Day. But don’t let this be the only day you’re truly aware. Just remember something as simple as a smile, or a hello could save someone’s life.
